Metabolic / Body Composition Testing
We start by collecting data such as circumference measurements, body fat percentage and lean body mass. We utilize that information to establish realistic goals for weight and body fat percentage. We then test your resting metabolic rate utilizing MetaCheck CO2 technology. Understanding the relationship between energy intake (food) and energy expenditure (metabolic rate plus voluntary activity and exercise) is critical to any successful "fat" loss plan. Learning to successfully and safely manipulate your personal energy balance equation will determine whether you reach your body composition goals. We employ only scientifically cutting edge and research validated principles to provide our clients with their best opportunity to healthfully reach their weight loss goals.

Comprehensive Fitness Evaluation
Includes tests of vital capacity, cardiovascular fitness, respiratory fitness, body composition, flexibility and muscular strength and endurance. Vital capacity is measured with a spirometer and tests lung capacity which is essential as a screening for lung diseases or as a baseline for healthy persons and athletes. Cardiovascular fitness is established by VO2 testing utilizing CardioCoach technology. This test will also determine other advanced cardio-respiratory health markers such as anaerobic threshold, respiratory quotient and substrate utilization. A detailed consultation based on evaluation results including individualized goals and general exercise guidelines is included. Personal training is available to those who want to maximize results after establishing their physical base line data through fitness evaluation.
